First consecrated way back in 604, St Paul's Cathedral has had to be rebuilt many times over its incredible lifespan including after its destruction in 1666's Great Fire of London. Dr Johnson's House

Best known for compiling 'A Dictionary of the English Language' in 1755, Dr Samuel Johnson is the second-most-quoted Englishman of all time.
